A few days ago I was trying to come up with a good name for this blog. One possibility was "No more than a Carpenter," which adequately describes what I am. This would have been a spin on Josh McDowell's book about Jesus that is entitled "More than a Carpenter." In the end, it just did not seem to work.
I was stuck at an impasse when my wife (Alice) came to the rescue. After thinking about it for a second she said, "What about Hammer and Nail?" Well, there it is.
