The Heavens are Telling the Glory of God

While we visited Seneca Lake, one of the joys was to wait for the sunset. On the clear days, we were usually treated to a visual banquet. We could see several miles across the lake (looking west), and at least twenty miles up the lake. I have included several photos here that show the gradual progression of a typical sunset on Seneca.

What a great and mighty God we serve who controls the sunset and displays a bit of His glory through it. I love to look at nature because we gain a glimpse of God's glory through His creation. I am reminded of Psalm 19:1:

"The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands."
