While we visited Seneca Lake, one of the joys was to wait for the sunset. On the clear days, we were usually treated to a visual banquet. We could see several miles across the lake (looking west), and at least twenty miles up the lake. I have included several photos here that show the gradual progression of a typical sunset on Seneca.What a great and mighty God we serve who controls the sunset and displays a bit of His glory through it. I love to look at nature because we gain a glimpse of God's glory through His creation. I am reminded of Psalm 19:1:
"The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands."
