We all would live our life differently if we could see ourselves from the outside. It reminds me of lyrics from a Delirious? song, All This Time. "My life's a show on God's TV,The world an audience, watching me."
ginn8888,This video hits too close to home. What we show on the outside matters not if the inside is not right with God.
What I think is even worse is that is our life at home before going to church to preach and teach. The life at home is the convicting part that is where our children are being taught.
Nicole,I agree with you. What happens at home probably shows where our hearts really are.
How did they get a camera in my house? That's not right!Seriously, though, it reminds me of a quote I put up on my blog a day or two ago. It was from J.C. Ryle, and he basically says that big Christian gatherings have no value if they don't make us better people when we get home. He says it's easy to be a good Christian when everyone around you is singing and praying, but a lot harder when you're back in "normal" life...
richard j,We must be living in the same house!
Do you ever wonder why it is so easy to pretend when we're among the church?Do you ever wonder why we feel like we have to pretend when we're among the church?-Alan
Alan,Those are good questions that every Christian must answer.
